Located within a few steps of Negra Beach and 6 km of Jaguar Rescue Center in Puerto Viejo, Villas Serenidad offers accommodation with seating area. We moved locations within the same town so we had to check out before check in technically started at Villas Serenidad. They not only let us store our bags, they let us check in early which was very convenient and considerate. We were shown to our room and another person also came to give us a more detailed review. We were also given a very detailed text with all the info we needed prior to our stay! RISE management looks after the property and are incredibly attentive. Anytime we had a question, it was answered promptly, professionally and in excellent English - a perk not expected but very much appreciated. They even let us have a delayed check out and refunded a night's stay when we had to cut our vacation short unexpectedly by a day. The grounds are beautiful and a very short walk to beautiful Playa Negra. Also a very convenient location close to the center of Puerto Viejo. We stayed in several places in Puerto Viejo and this was by far our favourite. Book this place now - it will not disappoint!

Everything was perfect. I also want to highlight the great hospitality we received from the owners, that made our stay even more memorable. Eric and Sharon are super nice people who go above and beyond to ensure that their guests have a fantastic time.

Located in Puerto Viejo and only 1.4 km from Cocles Beach, Lomas del Caribe provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The villas are very well equipped to cook anything you like! You can tell the person in charge cares about maintenance and does a good job at it. The pool was cleaned everyday, I asked for more sheets and towels and they were provided right away. Communication was excellent and easy via Whatsapp. Highly recommended for a group of four or family with kids. Very private, you can hear the monkeys howling and all kinds of birds chirping. Close to all main beaches (Cocles, Puerto Viejo and my fave, Punta Uva).

Offering an outdoor pool and water sports facilities, New Caribe Point is located in Cahuita in the Limon Region. Puerto Viejo is 14 km away. Free WiFi is offered throughout the property. The garden is beautiful, the pool too and the people are very friendly! The accommodation is very clean. The beach with a lot of bars and restaurants is very close and can be reached by a 2 minutes walk.

Situated just 200 metres from Chiquita Beach, Colores del Caribe dependencia del hotel Casa Merlin features accommodation in Puerto Viejo with access to an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, as well as... Charlene was outside to greet us when we arrived and showed us to the casa and explained everything.

Los Delfines Lodge, a property with a garden, is set in Puerto Viejo, 1.2 km from Cocles Beach, 2.4 km from Chiquita Beach, as well as 1.8 km from Jaguar Rescue Center. We enjoyed our stay at Los Delfines Lodge very much! Miguel and Marta are great hosts. They are extremely helpful, supported us, even washed and dried our cloth and drove us with their car. The house has a beautiful garden and a nice kitchen. We definitely recommend Los Delfines Lodge and would come again.

Featuring river views, Quintaesencia Arte y Naturaleza provides accommodation with an open-air bath and a balcony, around 8.6 km from Ebal Rodriguez Stadium. Nazareth’s place is a true gem, we spend a couple of days in the nature, saw a lot of birds and enjoyed the water from the river that goes across the property. It was great to relax and get away from the business of the city. The house was the exactly as the pictures, everything was clean and had everything that we need it! We spend a lot of time in the terrace enjoying the trees and nature. Guapiles is 10 min away driving, that was good to pick up food or just had food order in by uber eats, that was convinient. We will definitely stay again in La Quintanesesncia!!
