Set in Amuri, 100 metres from Ootu Beach and 400 metres from Aitutaki Beach, Aumaru Holiday Home offers a terrace and air conditioning. Maggie and Dylan were very warm and welcoming hosts. The house was new, modern, clean and comfortable, as a bonus it comes with a cat (has to stay outside though.) A very short walk to Koru Cafe and The Boat shed Bar and Restaurant for all your dietary requirements. Basically on the shore of the lagoon for swimming and water activities. Located in Amuri, 800 metres from Aitutaki Beach, Tai'inu Bungalows provides accommodation with a private beach area, free private parking and a garden. Well fitted out with everything we needed, great big verandah, comfortable bed! Great beach nearby but shallow, short walk to deeper one. Vaea was very friendly and welcoming, and took us on a quick tour on arrival and to the shop (fresh fruit was provided in the bungalow ).

Kura was such a fantastic host. Attentive, helpful, friendly and always willing to assist us with lifts, local advice, sorting us out with a scooter etc. Just next level. The property was also wonderful. Clean and kitted out with everything you could want, and the location was ideal too. Will 100% return here when we are next on Aitutaki. Thank you Kura!

Situated in Arutanga, within a few steps of Aitutaki Beach, Abera's Aitutaki Villas offers accommodation with air conditioning. Abera's Villas is an absolutely delightful place to stay. After a warm welcome at the airport Jael was an exemplary host; recommending and booking activities/experiences for us and providing a unique insight about island culture. The two very private beachfront villas share a pool and (after exploring the island) have the best location on Aitutaki; close to a variety of dining places. There is easy access to the clear waters of the lagoon, with fantastic swimming and snorkelling right off the beach. Kayaks, snorkelling gear, stand up paddle boards and wheels to get around the island are all provided at no extra cost. If you want a quiet and relaxing place to stay which has also been built to environmental standards you will not be disappointed. We booked the breakfast, which as described in previous posts, is extremely generous. Thank you also to Kathy and Moana for their wonderful housekeeping and warm hospitality.

Surrounded by lush coconut trees, the entire house exudes a peaceful charm. One of the highlights of our stay was the close proximity to the beach—just a short walk away. It’s hands down one of the best beaches we’ve ever visited, with pristine sands and crystal-clear waters that made every moment there magical. The house is fantastic—spacious, immaculately clean, and well-equipped to provide a cozy and comfortable experience. The cool sea breeze and the thoughtful layout of the house ensured we were always comfortable. It’s clear that Vaa and Joliene have put great effort into making Are Kapakapa a home away from home for their guests. Another highlight of our stay was exploring the fruit trees around the property. The coconuts were a delightful treat, perfect for a refreshing snack after spending time at the beach.
