Offering a garden and mountain view, Cabañas Oyikil is located in El Calafate, 7.7 km from Argentinean Lake and 4.6 km from Regional Museum. The cabin is clean and quiet. We were in cabin/apartment #1 which has a beautiful view of the Argentino lake. We rented a car at the airport so we had no problem with the cabin not directly in town. The location is great for us actually, about 5-10 mins drive to town and all the nice restaurants, conveniently near the routes to Perito Moreno Glacier NP, and El Chalten. Our host is very friendly and helpful with any issue of the apartment. There is also a very friendly property dog which we look forward to see every day.

A recently renovated holiday home located in El Chalten, Casa Nido Tiny House features a garden. This holiday home provides free private parking, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. We loved the Tiny House, Sandra has made clever use of space and it was perfect for our three night stay. The location is brilliant, a 10/15 minute walk to the bus station and close to shops and the start of the trails. I'd suggest only bringing small bags (we left our big ones in El Calafate) as otherwise it might be a bit of a squish. The kitchen is equipped with utensils and coffee, salt and soap so it's perfect to cook in and save some money. There is a little outside area so if there's good weather you could make use of that to have some more space. We only had one small issue during our stay. Sandra resolved this straight away and was contactable throughout our visit. It can get cold in the area in the evenings but there is a heater and lots of blankets. Sandra kept checking in to see whether we had everything we needed, which was very kind. Wifi was great! Sandra also let us store our bags after check out too. I would thoroughly recommend as a great place to stay!
