Offering a garden and city view, ROLEO Guest House is set in Lin, 29 km from Ohrid Lake Springs and 37 km from Early Christian Basilica. Where to start with this hidden gem. The pictures they have posted actually do not do it justice! I had looked at several places in this village and I am so glad we landed on this (although, my impression is that you really can't go wrong with any of the guest houses). It is not waterfront property per se, but you are a stone's throw from the water (this was not clear in the descriptions). And if you are lucky, like we were, the hosts will offer to take you by boat to a private beach! Just you and the swans and beautiful stones. But back to the beginning...our hosts greeted us warmly and helped us park the car in the nearby church. This is a little traditional village and as others have mentioned, yes the streets are narrow and there are logistics in getting the car parked, but come on people! What do you expect, the Hilton? Having wandered through Turkish villages but having grown up in America, I get the comment, but it is very short-sighted. Go with the flow a little. The stairs up to the house are a climb, but well worth it, as others have said. The surrounding garden of the house was very inviting-- in hydrangea, roses, fruit trees and the like, and with a view of the beautiful lake. And the garden was indeed where meals were served. We landed in the family-style apartment with a sofa bed for my son in the living room and a double bed for me and my husband, 2 separate rooms. The apartment was very cool and AC was not needed in the heat of June. Since we were on the ground floor, there wasn't a balcony. We used the garden seating for outside enjoyment. The hosts were very receptive and helpful with any questions we had. We used Lin as a base to see the village and the surrounding area. Ask the host to point you in the direction of the walk to the high point of Lin, where the ruins of the Basillica are located. Turn left up the hill by the fruit seller (before the guest house).

With mountain views, Camping Farm Shelegur is located in Leskovik and has a restaurant, full-day security, bar, garden, outdoor fireplace and children's playground. The son of the owner, which will come to welcome you at the arrival, is the sweetiest person ever! Very nice place, amazing food!

Located in Pogradec, 7.8 km from Ohrid Lake Springs and 23 km from Bay of Bones, Herald Guest House offers air conditioning. My recent stay at a guest house in Pogradec was simply wonderful. The large apartment had everything we needed, from a well-equipped kitchen to cozy living spaces. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Plus, the guest house's proximity to the lake made it easy to enjoy relaxing walks on the evening. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I highly recommend this guest house for anyone visiting Pogradec.

Everything brand new and modern. Better than I expected. Well equipped. Tushemisht is more quiet and beautiful than Pogradec. The host family is very friendly and speaks good English.

The incredible hospitality of the hosts made our stay at the Lake Ohrid Guesthouse an amazing one! The Guesthouse itself was very spacious (p.s would be just perfect for a big family and kids). The rooms were clean. From the facilities, everything you would need for a stay was there. Being centrally located you could reach everything on a foot distance.
