What a lovely home from home. The very comfortable apartment was furnished with the owner’s grandparents furniture - beautiful old carved wooden furniture. We chose to sleep in the four poster bed rather than the big brass bed. Everything you could want in an apartment was provided. Erna was wonderful. We wish we could have stayed longer. The beach, easy walking distance, must be one of the best in the world.

This is a tastefully furnished house with a contemporary feel. Set in an indigenous forest, the dawn bird calls are wonderful, particularly the Knysna Loerie, and we could hear the Fish Eagles calling from the lagoon. Inspite of the "Happy Place" being set in the forest, the sound of the sea could be heard too. Natures Valley seems very safe, and we walked off daily on any of the many, many walks just "down the road".

We needed peace and to get out in nature—we got it all. The horses roamed freely, the sunsets and sunrises were beautiful, and we sat outside on the deck until late at night with a burning fire. We heard the frogs and birds, watching the flames of the burning fire. And then there was cleanliness. We appreciated being spoilt, not having to wash clothes, wash the dishes, make the beds, sweep the floors, or clean the braai. Each day, we went on a hike and came back to peace and quiet in a place that felt like home. THANK YOU!

We had the best of both the forest and the sea.
We loved the privacy it gave us , and we were in the middle of nature , with a knysna loerie as well as white eyes and several other birds visiting us , but just some metres away was a lovely bench overlooking the ocean with dolphins every day .
Like i said , the best of both worlds . We could just rest , relax and enjoy .

A lovingly maintained and renovated old house with history. A family retreat. There is a well-stocked bookshelf and the decorations show a lot of love for design. Oppie Koppie is at the end of a lane, practically on its own. You are completely undisturbed there.
The beds are great, the kitchen is well equipped, there is always very prompt hot water. You can sit next to the house on a bench and enjoy the view or upstairs on the large veranda. There is also a large braai area. The famous Italian restaurant Enrico is within walking distance. Keurboomstrand is not as crowded as other places in this area and there are beautiful beach walks there. Thank you very much for letting me stay at Oppie Koppie for three nights.
Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.

We have spent great 3 days in Nature's valley and could stay longer: the area offers a lot to explore - from Salt River and Tzitzikami hikes, to the ocean beach as well as excellent Groot River beach with warm shallow waters - perfect for children. The flat is very large, very clean, decorated with a taste and has private entrance and a terrace. Thank you, Ilse, for this experience!

The apartment was gorgeous well equipped, comfy and very clean, beautifully decorated. Location is fabulous 2 min walk to the breathtaking beach, small convenience store and restaurant. Very safe area within close driving distance from many tourist attractions. Would definitely recommend to anyone and would stay here again.
Very clean...very modern...extremely comfortable apartment with a welcoming host. Added bonus was the restuarant recommendation in town which served us amazing food. Lovely evening and early morning beach walk with friendly village people. All round a great place to stay.
Beautiful BnB set in a beautiful surrounding. Stayed there before and after our Otter trail Hike. The staff were amazing and very friendly. Rooms were very clean and luxurious.
Everything was very clean and comfortable. We had a large room with a beautiful bathroom with a bath which was lovely. The area is very nice and quiet, close to the beach and wonderful hikes. The staff was very kind and accommodating.
