Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
The rooms was very clean and the decor was authentic to the area. The owners was very friendly and and able to share a lot of knowledge about the area.
We were met with the greatest hospitality by René, the owner. It is a hidden gem in Askham.

I had an accident with the rented car that broke down in Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park 16 hours before my flight at Upington airport. The rental company (EuropCar) did not care to replace it with the new one in order to be able to arrive on time at the airport and to not miss my flight, so the owners offered me a lift to the airport, even we had to start at 5:00AM and ride was two and a half hours.
