Really lovely property overlooking the lake. We were 3 friends on a road trip and really loved this stop. Kernville had some great food and drink stops (notably the saloon and the brewery) and the tubing down the Kern River was a great activity. Driving distance to the trail of 100 giants if you wanna check out the big sequoias, there'd been a lot of wildfire of late when we went which was a bit of a shame but still got some amazing views on the drive. The property itself is comfortable with everything you need, would definitely stay again

Very nice place, which is fully equipped (e.g. washing machine, dryer, oven, wifi). We loved the location in the mountains. A deer walked around the house.
It was very nice to sit on the porch and enjoy the view.

Great location right on the river with amazing views. Short drive into the national forest. Staff were great. Our cabin was perfect for a family of 4 and it was a short walk into kernville to the restaurants and bars.

Absolutely loved this place! Super friendly and great host. The accommodation on a last minute notice (sorry by the way) I was so amazed thank you so much for a great vacation home for our family it was a memory for the books as my daughter put it. My son asked for his birthday just the family to be celebrated there in February..
Very clean and quiet. Okay view of the lake across the street from the room, much better view from the little grass area just outside the room. Staff was friendly. Check in was very fast. We would definitely stay again.
Receptionist left us the key desipite being almost too late to check in. Room was very clean and we were able to use a coffe machine. There were more than enough parking spots and you are able to smoke outside.
The room was very clean and comfortable. It had all the amenities like a refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave. The bed was comfortable and air conditioner worked well. A nice place for a stay near Kernville.
Also, Charlie's Market just down the street had a hamburger stand inside with many good choices for a meal and groceries if needed.
