The location was perfect- cool bookstores right outside. Cool coffee shops, restaurants, bars etc. the space was great also with everything I needed to be comfortable and setup. Im gonna try to stay here next time I’m in town also!

Great location on the SE side of Portland, near many neighborhoods like Hawthorne, Belmont, Laurelhurst. Many restaurants and shops within walking distance. Easy to park on neighboring streets overnight. Felt safe. Bus stop on Hawthorne Street could easily bring you back and forth to downtown sites.

Stuart's home is exceptional. The thoughtful details were too many to count, which made it feel like we were in the comfort of our own home. To name a few: complementary local products such as coffee, honey, beer, cranberries, tea, and other condiments, Dr. Bronners liquid soap, quality appliances and kitchenware, etc. Our almost 4-year old and 13-year old found all of the artifacts around the house fascinating, and they loved the kids sleeping area. We enjoyed listening to records on the turntable and the old Kimball piano and congas were fun to play. The location is perfect, with easy access to the restaurants and shops of SE Portland while also being on a safe and quiet street. We'll definitely be back on our next trip to Portland.
