If you are looking for a lovely cabin, nestled in the trees, birds singing, close enough to the city of Cashiers, but not in the middle of it, this is the place. Lovely cabin, very comfortably decorated with everything you might need. The owner checked in with us a couple of times to make certain we were pleased (stayed 5 nights) grilled steaks on the porch, lovely firepit too. The cutest little wren had a nest above us when we sat in rocking chairs on the porch for coffee or a glass of wine. Cashiers is about a 7 min drive away, with terrific shops and restaurants. Highlands about 25 min with even more terrific shops and restaurants. Then returning to the cabin is the peacefulness of the Nantahala forest. The beds are very comfortable, soft linens, kitchen well equipped. We cooked breakfast every morning and then slowly slid into the day. Many waterfalls close by too. To sum it up, if you are due some lovely, quiet, downtime with the option of going into Cashiers and the surrounding areas at your leisure, Heavenly Bearadise will fit your needs.
