The property was exactly as described. It fitted our needs perfectly. The beds were super comfortable. The small stocks in the house were helpful for cooking and then we were able to add our little bit as well before leaving to the keep the stocks going for the next visitors.

The Over the Rainbow loft was comfortable, clean and the hosts provided beach towels, snorkel gear, plus a lot of other beach gear including chairs and sun shade umbrella.
There were so many little touches that made our experience great. The local coffee and cookies, the full kitchen, after sun lotion, big spray, travel toothbrush, first aid kit, and more. There were plenty of towels. There's also a washer and dryer which we couldn't find - it's outside in the garage of the property directly in front.
The parking spot is right outside your door.
Overall, the Over the Rainbow loft is a great place to stay, the location is ideal as a base and for food options. Bedding was comfortable and you have everything you require for your stay - whether short or extended.
We highly recommend it and would definitely stay again on our next visit to Hilo.

This is the weirdest and most amazing place I have ever stayed. The lava field was incredible and the house is comfortable and super cute. I can't imagine spending two weeks there but for a couple of nights it was perfect. What an experience!

It’s definitely not the standard bed and breakfast. The owner is very attentive to make your stay comfortable and provides all those kind of stuff and treats that can help you feel at home. The house is very clean, even the shared bathroom. You have access to the living room to watch tv or make yourself some tea/coffe or you can rest in the porch. Breakfast is every day a surprise, prepared with fresh ingredients and creativity.
