Nice little cabin, with a good , well-equipped kitchen, except for the shortage of knives. Also, no cheese grater, but these things are easily fixed.. Need to find a better place for the garbage can, though!. Also, better lights. Big Tv. Lovely outdoor space, and we enjoyed the fire table. It would not have been a short walk to the beach, though! Ok for us, and the lake looked lovely, but we did not use it because of the season.
There were deer around, including fawns, and a bear came to visit, but his interest was the garbage cans. No luck there.
Google maps is misleading, so turn onto Behrens Drive and then onto Piney Woods and you will find it quickly.
The hosts left us some delicious ice cream sandwiches that we appreciated.
Overall, we had a very good time.

Great for families or large parties, vacation homes are privately owned accommodations, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities, though breakfast might be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different than apartments.
The host was very nice and welcoming. He provided us with plenty of information on acitivites/things to see during our stay. Breakfast was delicious and served at our desired time. The room was very cozy and the bathroom was very clean.
Very clean and nice firm mattress. Extremely loud road noise, could be lessened with weather stripping around the door. Bathroom tiny but good hot water . Only provides soap and shampoo so bring your own favorite toiletries, us seniors would appreciate a grab bar by the tub. But the staff is stupendous and go out of their way to please you, even lent my husband a tie when he forgot one. And the breakfast buffet is wonderful.
