The host is so friendly, the location is convenient (but not so safe), the house is clean, and the WIFI is stable. It is a cozy and comfortable house. We will recommend it if you are not a foreigner.
To be honest, at the beginning, we thought the host will be a guy (the picture showing on her email profile seems to be xd), so we were a bit worried since we did not notice the host will stay in the same house downstairs before we booked it. But, with her kind explanation about that, although we are using the same entrance for the front door, we actually have an independent door and flat that is completely separated! The most important thing is, since we are 2 girls, it is so nice when we notice the host is a she, and she is living with her mother, making us relieved when we arrived.

Much much better than expected (after reading previous reviews). Cozy place, great neighbourhood! We were 5 people and the place was spacious enough. Be careful not to put all your suitcases and backpacks on the top floor bedroom, because there isnt much space on the floor! Cute backyard, nice place to relax. Spacious living room with some fun board games for you and your friends. All amenities we needed in the kitchen were provided. Hot water 24/7 with high pressure in the bath tub. Some people might not like the style of this historic house, but we liked it. Also it's 2 blocks away from the subway that goes to WTC in 7 minutes. All in all we had a great stay and we missed the place when we left.

The location was good, Harlem was fun. Good sized room. Fairly close to subway, within walking distance. Good places to eat and drink close by. The local people were friendly and fun. Was fairly quiet in my room.

Max was an outstanding host. Attentive, intuitive, and always available, he combined responsiveness with the grace of a gentleman and the intellect of a scholar, making him a pleasure to be around. His attention to detail in both the upkeep of his home and the care of his guests was remarkable. The provision of an unlimited selection of snacks, drinks, coffees, sodas, and even an array of exotic noodles was truly impressive. On top of this, the thoughtful touch of a leopard-print evening gown added a unique charm to the experience. The part of Harlem where his home is situated felt authentic and vibrant, yet safe, with excellent public transport links. In every way, my stay was exceptional, and I would highly recommend it. Without hesitation, I look forward to returning—five stars out of five!

Extremely clean and whole place smelled amazing everyday for the 8 nights I was there. Fantastic complimentary bathroom amenities and the room was cosy with everything you need. Kitchen facilities were great too with a lot of drinks and snacks. Great welcome with super attention to detail.

So cute! And great location to the subway, shops, local eateries. We had the best time!
Went with family having kids and elderly on our visit to NY. Very clean apartment building and safe for families. Had all amenities working great. No issue of any smoke smell or any sort inside apartment premises. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Nearby grocery stores and ihop is few mins drive. Will highly recommend if you are around Jersey City.
The lady at reception was great. When she came to know we travelled from Canada to NYC for our anniversary, she gave us a better room. We stayed there four nights and room/bed was really comfy. Hotel was very clean. Room has Microwave and fridge.

The staff were really friendly and welcoming. The bed was great and the room was very spacious - and very, very clean. I like that they don't clean the room every day - honestly, who needs that.
The breakfast was plentiful and had an excellent selection of tasty pastries. I'm getting hungry just thinking back to it.
I chose this because it was cheaper than New York, near(ish) a PATH station, had a microwave so I could keep food costs down, and had a supermarket nearby...
Very clean and comfortable apartment! The host was also extremely friendly, with great communication. The location was perfect, just down the road from tons of retaurants, shops. Finally have to mention the view, it was beautiful. The images uploaded in here are very accurate!
Location is awesome. Took mostly a ferry (path in evenings) and it takes only 5 minutes to reach Manhattan (World trade center). The vicinity is exceptional - waterfront with Manhattan view, coffee in nearby Gregory`s coffee and the sound of the river.
The room itself is mostly renovated, cozy and very clean. Perfect place for several days.
Fantastic location in jersey city, which has easy access to the Path train to Manhattan. In the surrounding area of Jersey City just 15 mins walk to the main area where there are restaurants and bars.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the beds are large. It’s all kept very clean and the showers are hot.
We arrived very late and there was still someone on check in desk.
Also liked the added touch of USB ports on the plug sockets by the bed.
The hotel is a bit older, but very clean, and that is important.

5 minutes to PATH station and 10 minutes with the train to the World Trade Center or 20 minutes to the 33rd street.
Supermarkets and food within walking distance
Our stay was pretty great. The host was very responsive and thoughtful. The apartment looks exactly as the pictures, very clean, and the neighborhood was generally quiet. Transportation is very close and it about 35 min to NYC and the highway was near by. Liked the nearby park and the view of NYC across. Will definitely recommend to our friends and family and would definitely come back.
Great location for easy, quick access to the city which was all we really needed. The hotel felt very family friendly and safe. Great price for what we got! A simple room with a comfy bed, a working bathroom and it was very clean. All we could ask for.
