The house was very comfortable and beautiful. They have a nice garden that you can eat from. The hosts were fantastic, they had us over to watch football which was lovely. It was also a bit out of town which meant you can take the bypass and avoid traffic.

The host, Jessica, was amazing! Her home was perfect for the six of us. With four bedrooms and three bathrooms, we had no arguments over first showers or who gets which room. There is a security guard present at night so safety is not an issue. Jessica arranged for a driver for us from the airport for a reasonable price and then we also paid him extra for taking us to the grocery store and bank and to purchase a camera battery and to buy Tanzanite jewelry. She also arranged a driver to take us to our horse safari. We took the driver to dinner with us and he shared many engaging stories about his experiences in Tanzania. The drivers, Sebastian and Sam, are brothers. They were kind and helpful and FUN!
Arusha had a couple of electrical outages while we were there. Jessica kept us informed. We had a little trouble getting the gas stove on and when we called Jessica, she responded immediately.
There is a rooftop balcony which we enjoyed with our own Happy Hour drinks. The kitchen table was immense and perfect for our use.
We had a lovely time for the two days we were here prior to our 10 day safari.

More than a beautiful accommodation, Hillside retreat is part of Africa Amini life ( Humanitarian project including a school, a medical center , an orphanage ) it worse to go to there just to help them. The location was amazing with mount Meru view. Comfortable and spacious villa. Friendly and helpfull staff. For me nothing to change it was above my expectations and it was touching to meet all the Africa mini Life adults and childs.

Excellent value for money, especially considering that one can use also the facilities (pool and gym) of the Greenside Mountain Hotel a few hundred metres accross the road. Everything is very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
We liked Everything! From the moment you arrive, you are greeted with the amazing tanzanian hospitality. The staff are all excellent. They make you feel at home. I credit that to the owner who has an amazing heart to his guests. The rooms were very clean and the food was great.
A very clean, comfortable hostel. We were very impressed with our room and the facilities in general. It felt very homey but still very clean. Swahiba and his girlfriend are excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. They showed us all the best local spots to go to and we even did a last minute day trip tour of Arusha with Swahiba which we thoroughly enjoyed. We would highly recommend this lovely hostel- which felt more like a home away from home than a hostel!
This place is a jewel box! Fantastically nice owner. Everything is very clean and practical, the environment is friendly. The Swahili dinner was very delicious. We had a lot of fun!
Highly recommend Serengeti Villa! The place was very clean, comfortable and the dinner and breakfast were amazing. The staff were also all very welcoming and polite. Frank was a great host and made sure at all times that me and my friend were safe. Would love to come back again!
Our room was very clean and great size for a short stay. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very homely. The staff here were amazing, so welcoming and even cleaned our shoes after a muddy walk. We would recommend the dinner as it was delicious local food and breakfast was also a great bonus. I couldn’t recommend it any more - we will stay here again on our next trip to Arusha.
Breakfast and dinner were great. The location is not so easy to access if you go alone, but with the help of locals you can easily reach the hotel, which is well known there. The place was also very clean and the rooms were well organized. It was super worth it for the price and length of stay. Zena is very sweet and friendly! And as for security, we were able to leave our bags in the rooms, which had locks, so it was super peaceful too.
