The villa was a little hidden gem away from the tourist areas. The view from the deck was excellent, the bed very comfortable, and the host Raouf was very helpful and nice.

These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities, though breakfast might be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different than apartments.
The apartment itself is very good. It's not big, but very cosy. Clean and neat. There is a panoramic view of the mountains from the bedroom. There is everything you might need for cooking. Bathroom is very clean and the shower cabin is NOT leaking!!!. It was very cold in July (due to the altitude), fortunately they have a radiator, which was very good. They provide you with blankets, the pillows were also very comfortable. Very friendly and helpful host. Very good wifi.

We were supported with transfer from the airport and everything we needed during 5 days we spent there. Very welcoming staff, super nice and caring. The apart is compact but lovely, it is kind of tiny cottage but gives you different experience than you get in formal hotels. Very clean, all what you need is there. Car parking available at low rate which is important in Ayder.
