The sound at night is the sound of the waves crashing and leaves rusting. The beach is on the west coast so the best view is the sunsetting into the sea in the evening. The property provides chairs and beds that you can carry to the beach to relax. The beach is a bit steep but can walk a little bit to find a good spot. In the evening, there'll be a lot of hermit crabs in the area.

I liked the laid back location! Being tucked away in the jungle was a nice change of scenery 👌I was the only guest in the whole place, do this was a bug plus too! Easy to rent motorbike, perfect like general store shop for all your Thai goodies and great coffee and breakfast. Then I was able to take a 10 min walk or 5 - 7 motorbike drives all over the North and South and ending on very peaceful and serene beaches. The staff was in top of good service and was helpful in booking a very reasonable local bus to catch my transport to Hat Yai.

We stayed for 5 nights and were really happy with our decision. Bungalow is new, next to the owner’s house but very private in a beautiful garden. There was big bed with a mosquito net, TV and good Wi-Fi, fridge and fan. There is also nice view to surrounding from a porch. Next to the bungalow is a bathroom with cold water, but it was what we wanted after hot day. Next to the bungalow is also nature sitting area and small bamboo resting place. Owners were really kind and welcome. We asked for a kettle and towels and there was not a problem to warmly get it from them.
Since the accommodation is very private out of noisy center we recommend to have a bike to get there or use a taxi which is about 8 minutes to the Khao Lak center. Very next to the accommodation is beautiful caffeteria. Very good value for money.
Accommodation is a good spot for Coconut beach near by which we loved the most from all. On the road to this beach are also very good and still cheap restaurants - maybe 10-15 walk. Grocery store about 8-10 minutes. We had a scooter to get to Waterfalls, Lamru national park, Turtle conservation center and others.
If you wish to stay in private, out of resorts place, just book it.

If you want to get away from all the noise of Khao Lak, that's the place! It's tucked away up on a hill, so no traffic noise. The only disturbance is the roosters, which can be annoying. The house is huge! The kitchen is well-equipped (microwave, fridge, small induction stove, plus some basic kitchen utensils). The AC is efficient, and there are also mosquito screens on the windows, so no need for the AC at night. It's about 3 km from the beach. The host is very sweet.

Location is beautiful
Cottages are in the shade of a wonderful garden next to the beach. Staff is very friendly and ready to support all requests. Food is delicious. Beds are confortable and rooms are very clean. Suggested for relaxing in a very unique atmosphere. No wifi available

A beautiful, small and quiet resort on a long, wide beach. I had a relaxing time here. The restaurant offers many choices and the Thai food they served was very good. Good massage on the beach. The staff is wonderful and helpful, simply the best! Everything is very clean.
Very nice bungalows, everything was perfect and very clean. No mass tourism. You have your own house. The beach is very nice, also there was a breakfast buffet, plenty of food. Stuff is very friendly. Very calm and perfect to relax. It was a little bit to calm for us. There were no other buldings, restaurants or bars close to that beach. Kho Kho Kao island is far away from mass tourism. Its good if you want to relax. We will come again.
The complex is spacious and well maintained. Everything is very clean, the pool area, the restaurant, the rooms. Our deluxe bungalow was large, clean and equipped with everything. AC ran quietly and was powerful. Room service was an artist and made art out of flowers and towels :) The beach is deserted, clean, slopes flat. You can walk for miles without meeting a human being. Every guest finds a sunbed with umbrella, there are enough. The staff is totally friendly and helpful. A really nice hotel to relax and unwind.
The staff was super friendly, helpful and caring. The rooms are spacious, very clean and the bed really comfortable. The pool is big and great for swimming. The hotel is well taken care of, at the beach and surrounded by nature, perfect for a relaxing holiday. I will for sure stay here again next time I visit Koh Kho Khao.
Enormous impressive Villa’s. Huge private pool. Beautiful, peaceful, well maintained grounds. If you want utter peace, privacy and quiet this may suit you.
Personal Welcome and introduction at arrival. The villa has its private pool and lots of space. All requests were dealt with immediately. Food was brought to the villa at request. The villa and the whole premises are very well maintained. The beach is only a short walk away from the villa.
