This is a perfect property for a very large group or a few families. It can sleep 14 people (5 king beds and 4 single). The location is amazing, there are more ACs than rooms and lots of space to hang out and eat as a large group. Lucy who manages the property goes above and beyond to make you welcome. She helped us find a great private tour guide (Ann from Absolute Tours) and communicated very clearly before and during our visit to get activities planned.

Great location on quiet dead-end street. Large house with lots of space! Our family really enjoyed the pool (which doubles as a jacuzzi since it has bench seats and is only 12 feet long). Beds were comfortable, which can be hard to find! We appreciated the daily housekeeping in the kitchen and the drinking water supplied. Very responsive owner was easy to contact when issues came up.

Stayed here with a group of 9 friends for 3 nights. We ended up extending and staying an extra night because we all loved staying here so much. The place is incredible and the staff who came and cleaned and took care of us did an amazing job. Lucy, who coordinated everything from checking in to transportation, went above and beyond for us. Staying here was genuinely a major highlight of our two weeks in Thailand, and we all wished we could have stayed longer. I'd happily stay here again next time I'm in Chiang Mai with a group or family.

The location is great! Only a few steps away from Minmman Road and the massage right next door is also a hidden gem! Stuff was very responsive with communication and keeps bringing water daily to make sure we are hydrated.

Stuff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is in an alley way right by the edge of the old town, location is good, it is easy to go everywhere. We had 5 people so we moved around by taxi for 5 days, it was easy for us to call taxi there. Room was very clean and spacious. We stayed at a family room and a double room. Both were comfortable!

Exceptional value for money all round. Good location, all the amenities nearby, very comfy bed, very clean and even has a balcony. Short walk from the centre. But the best part about this place is Bo, the daytime supervisor. She is the kindest and most helpful host I have met on my long travels. A genuinely awesome person, at the very least go just to meet her!

Absolutely loved everything about this place. Huge room with very private pool. Comfortable bed. Very clean. Helpful staff. Only 7 accommodations so very boutique / family - ran feeling. Breakfast was insane. 2nd morning we requested a portion for one person because we felt bad wasting it. Didnt run a bath as the pool was more than adequate. REALLY good massage place next to chef taos 5 minute walk toward center of town.
The resort was absolutely amazing. Loved every bit of stay. Villa was very clean, bed very comfortable and the private pool was bliss. Would definitely recommend Thantara to anyone.
