Very clean and comfortable a/c one room bungalow called a "villa". Good for one person or a couple for a short visit. I slept here one night before heading to the airport in the early morning (20 minute drive).
Beachfront and peaceful. You can hear the beach at night. In the morning you can hear roosters crowing.
The location is surrounded by expensive resorts and not much else, so it would be best to have your own car.

Easy to reach/walk from airport.
The wooden houses/rooms are pretty nice and fell traditional. Also very cool craftsmanship/woodworks with many details.

For us, we took the first 2 nights here and it was perfect to rehab from the flight and get our first steps in Thailand.

It’s a relaxing spot (local area) far from the center 16 min drive from the Hkt airport.
( they offer free snacks and soft drinks)

I really recommend honeymooners to stay there at least 3 days.

Good lighting from 2 windows looking over a vacant field. Liked watching the stray dogs. Looks like its going to be noisy there real soon though..developers bringing in construction materials..

These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities, though breakfast might be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different than apartments.
As usual with most 5 star hotels in Thailand service is great. I did find the staff in the Renaisance extremely friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean and well organised. We will certainly return.

Especially the kids club was a great experience. It is huge and the best kids club I have seen. And the kids club team around Nim, Opal, May, Wii and Jang make it a great place for kids to play.
Super friendly staff, very clean and spacious 2 bed apartment with private pool, luxury interior and lots of kids and adult activities. Taurus restaurant had brilliant food and we loved the themed buffets there too. Late check out was a bonus! Thanks very much we had a lovely time at this resort.
