We loved everything! A brand new full-size home with luxury interior, two beautiful balconies, and a personal swimming pool. The views of the Douro valley were stupendous. Jose and his wife were very friendly and went overboard with helpful suggestions for nearby restaurants, and we especially enjoyed seeing their winemaking operation.
After departing, we had lunch in a nearby town where I accidentally forgot my purse and passport. Hours later, we discovered it was missing. We called Jose in a panic, and his wife drove to the restaurant and managed to recover everything! Talk about “above and beyond the call of duty!”
We plan to stay here every time we are in the Douro Valley. Fantastic house and hosts!

Great communication with the host. Our arrival was delayed by a train strike but he checked to make sure the trains would be running on departure day. We met the host at the Cafe across from the train station and the apartment was an easy 5 minute walk away with markets close by. The apartment was clean and had ample space. The bed was comfortable and the WIFI worked well. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and the breakfast items left in the fridge added to the value of the apartment. Just remember it is a cash only apartment payable on site.

The host were extremely welcoming and went above and beyond, letting us use the pool area and jacuzzi after check out. We wanted to stay an additional night but they were fully booked but helped us find another accommodation nearby. The breakfast basket was delicious and the views incredible.

Beautiful location directly at the Douro river with a great view from the room! Room was very clean, modern and comfortable. Lovely staff. The complimentary wine tour was nice - impressive history. Extremely good breakfast in the morning with a rich variety and super nice local products which was included in the overnight stay.
We enjoyed so much the stay in this beautiful place. We arrived very late and Rosalio made us great dinner and let us feel totally home. The rooms were very clean and the view is fabulous in this little beautiful village. The hosts even made us a tour in their small vinery. The breakfast is great and homemade, and the communication with the place was perfect!

Where can I even begin? This place was a bit of Portugese heaven. Totally secluded, with your own private pool, nestled amongst the vineyards. This was by far our favourite place to stay. Ana, the host, went over and above to make sure our stay was comfortable, and hosted a private wine tasting with an accompanying cheese and meat board.
The whole property is just beautifull. So well mainteined and the interior of the room was very cozy and well thought. The private pool & yard for our kid to play was just awesome. And the VIEWS! You just can't get enough of it!
We took the wine tour and it was really good, also very tasty wines. Had to buy couple bottles. Staff very friendly, and discreet.
Loved the setting, the staff and the ambience. Food was great too. The pool has the most amazing view. The hotel is beautiful, very clean and the staff could not have been more helpful and kind.
We liked everything! A little paradise in the heart of Douro! The view from the property is amazing on the vineyards and the Douro valley. The house is very clean and well equipped. I personally enjoyed the quality of the bed and the bed linen. The swimming pool is perfect to relax. There is a barbecue available which is perfect to grill some fish or meat! The village is very quiet and peaceful. If you want to immerse yourself into rural Portugal, it is the perfect place.
The room was very clean and, despite the budget size and rear location, was very comfortable and had good lighting conditions. The staff was excellent, very kind and helpful. I owe a special thank you message to Milene, the wonderful receptionist who saved my day!
Wonderful little house with a private pool and a fantastic view over Duoro river. The owner is super friendly and always happy to help. We enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!
