We were greeted by the owner and given a tour of the property and allowed to use the pool, grill and kitchen. The room was expertly designed, very efficient and comfortable, and the front balcony was very comfortable with great views. Highly recommended!

Their home was immaculate and the location was the most peaceful and quiet we have enjoyed in Portugal with an amazing view of the valley and city of Santiago do Cacem. An old windmill will always have bags of character and this did not disappoint - the master bedroom still had much of the wooden machinery that turned the millstones. The kitchen was well equipped and there was a shared washing machine in the bungalow next door. The grounds around the windmill were full of character with seats facing every direction. The natural pool looked great but it was too cold in February to try it out!
