Great rural location. Relatively easy to find. Host's dad was there to meet us. When we were there the weather was cold but in summer, the large pool would be very relaxing. Large house with 4 double bedrooms (2 with ensuites). Dinner in the evening (several courses) by the host's mother. Big kitchen so we cooked our breakfast in the house.

Very responsive host, although the booking.com app was bugged and didn’t allow us proper communication, he waited for us at the door to help. Nice attention with a little gift of Port waiting on the table. Modern equipment and bathrooms and a little history about the house name.
Great for families or large parties, vacation homes are privately owned accommodations, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities, though breakfast might be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different than apartments.
The accommodation is set within the village of Provosende and surrounded by vineyards. The rooms are very clean and the breakfast and diners are good. We particularly enjoyed our candlelight dinner in the families beautiful 17th Century family home.
Daniela and Manuel were wonderful hosts. We enjoyed a very nice dinner with wine tasting upon arrival and enjoyed two very relaxing days at the accommodation. Very clean room, practical bathroom, and the garden is just wonderful. We went home with 2 bottles of their local port wine.
This is a wonderful place to stay set among the vineyards. The room was very clean spacious and comfortable. The pool and gardens are very relaxing. Our host Manuel was very helpful and accommodating.
I would recommend the 6.5 KM hike to Pinhao through the vineyards.
