Great location, lovely grounds and beautiful views. When we visited it was very peaceful and quiet. The house is spacious and the kitchen has everything you need for a breakfast or quick meal. The owners were kind, helpful and even brought us fresh bread and pastel de nata each morning! Downtown Pinhao is a few minutes away with nice Quintas to tour and taste port.

The property was a self contained apartment. It was very spacious although the bedrooms were upstairs and the stairs were difficult to negotiate. The kitchen was very roomy and had everything we needed plus more. The availability of a washing machine and clothes line was fantastic.

Very clean, comfortable, modern and spacious accommodation located in the center of Pinhao next to the Douro river. Ideal to visit the area and to take a boat trip on the Douro river. We enjoyed the place and especially the air-co! Upon arrival, we were spoiled with some local products. We highly recommend this place if you want to visit the Douro region.

Beautiful property, kids loved the pool & ability to explore the vineyards and garden. The casa was well appointed. The outdoor grill/eating are was a highlight. Staff was very welcoming and available for questions. We wished we could have stayed longer!

Even though we only used one bedroom, they all looked nice. One of them opened to the patio where we enjoyed the view of the surrounding hills, surrounded by vineyards. Paula was an amazing host and we did make arrangements to enjoy her local cuisine at her cafe. Kitchen was well equipped. Took off each day exploring the Douro Valley. (FYI: Port Tastings are only at some vineyards by reservation; best to plan tastings in Pinhão or in Porto.)

Nothing was too much trouble
This apartment was very clean and well stocked with little essentials and snacks in the kitchen. Location was perfect and a beautiful little sitting area right outside the front door. We were only there for 1 night but it was perfect.
Fabulous property which was a perfect place to explore the Douro valley. The host Helena and her daughter were extremely welcoming. Breakfast each morning was a feast and served by Helena. The property is spacious, very clean and had all the facilities required for the perfect stay including a hot tub, pool table and honesty bar.

We had problems to enter the Suite because of my mobile which didn't work properly. The help over the telefon was perfect.

The guest house was in a perfect location and was very stylish. Owners were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was lovely and very clean. Breakfast was ok. Parking was a huge bonus. Views from the house were wonderful. Its an easy walk to town for restaurants and boat trips.
Bruno has a vinyard and makes delicious wines. Definitely worth trying while relaxing in the lounge.

The view was amazing and the welcoming glass of wine was an added extra. The room was a nice size and very clean. Bernardo the owner was wonderful & so Paulo. Both made you feel at home. I would stay here again and definitely recommend this hotel. Especially quiet and so inviting. A taxi must be taken to the property so you may want to call the property or email in advance to arrange for a car, if you are taking the train or coming to Duoro Valley by boat.
