This property was beautifully decorated as well as nice amenities. We loved listening to vinyl David Bowie while we got ready for our day. We were meeting another couple and staying with them, so we needed a bigger place, otherwise we would have loved to have stayed in this place for several days!

Check-in is supposed to be at 3 PM and I had submitted request for early check-in. However, this was not satisfied, which is understandable.
But when then I was informed I could check in at 4 PM. We arrived at the property and we waited for half an hour and there was no one to greet us to give us the key so I contacted the property owner and let them know that I would need to come back since I had booked a tour And will not be able to continue waiting. So we ended up checking in at around 7:15 PM when we left check out time is supposed to be at 12 but the cleaners were already entering our apartment at 11:30 AM so the check in process was not smooth at all

David and Paula were some of the most welcoming hosts I ever encountered!! I cannot say enough about how they went out of their way to accommodate us on so many levels, especially being weary travelers after completing the Frances Way of the Camino. The Villa is incredibly charming, large, & well appointed! It was spotless, & welcoming, & the location is prime! A short walk to the point of where the Douro River feeds into the Atlantic, & only a few blocks from shopping, restaurants & groceries. It is a modern apartment with AC perfect for a holiday also have parking space , the place was very clean. It is in a good location aswell do not miss out to rent this ☺️. Ana is very helpful
