Nice friendly host. The location is good and the house has all you need to spend some time exploring nearby. We even had the fireplace running when we got in. It felt really cosy.

We loved the location of the house. The interior walls are made of granite which makes the house fresh without the need of air conditioned. Also the house is quite spacious. The hosts had a basket with honey, cheese, and coffee waiting for us. The kitchen is well equipped with all it is needed for a conformable stay. The location allows easy access to all hiking trails of Serra da Estrela. One of the best hiking trails starts very near the house and also gives access to a very nice river beach. If you are traveling with pets, the house is also the perfect spot.

It was so peaceful and the outside area was relaxing after a day of hiking and exploring. Plus the fresh garden veggies in the fridge were a wonderful treat

We got a free upgrade to a private with ensuite which was great! In general it's very clean, they have a small kitchen. Breakfast was good and the location on top of the mountain is just amazing! They've got a fireplace in both buildings which is a nice extra aswell.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is incredible, in the middle of the mountains. Very nice breakfast, and very clean environment. The beds were a bit old but still good for a good rest, and the room very spacious
