The place was great, with lots of room, the outside was gorgeous, really well looked after with the pool. The host left us some food like bread and wine so all of that was much appreciated. The place was very clean and honestly, we were really sad that we weren't able to stay for longer.

What a wonderful, tranquil and tasteful place you've created Paula! We are so grateful for all the thoughtful touches - fresh bread in the morning, bottle of wine upon arrival... Mrs G was so friendly and welcoming when we got there despite being a bit late and having been a bit lost. We stayed in the cork house which is just perfect for a relaxing holiday stay for 2, it had everything we needed for cooking simple meals. We loved lounging in the sunshine on the deckchairs, listening to the nightingales singing at dusk, watching the sheep next door. We fell in love with this part of Alentejo! The house was perfectly situated for walks and only a short drive from the beautiful towns of Castelo De Vide and Marvão. We did not want to leave! Really hope we can be back in the future!

The house was amazing. Six suites, extremely comfortable in the winter. Heat and an amazing fireplace. We travelled with kids and they had an amazing time in first floor playing ping pong. The house is big and can easily accommodate groups. Totally recommend it. There is also a very appealing pool outside for summer stays.

This was an interesting experience. The property looks to be fairly new and it is set in the middle of a cork tree grove. I especially enjoyed the excellent wifi and the presence of a microwave in the room. The place was immaculate and one of the staff spent a considerable amount of time picking up leaves, small branches, and other material that was on the lawn while I was there. If I ever return to south eastern Portugal, I would stay here again, especially as now I know where it is located!

The room is very clean and the location is amazing. We normally stay here when visiting Marvao as it is good value for money. It’s not luxury and the fixture and fittings could be nicer but you get what you pay for. It’s comfortable and the staff is very friendly. We will come back in the future.
