An amazing village stopped in time. The neighbors were warm and welcoming and helped us find the house. They lent us a wine opener and told us that the village originally produced olive. We saw the old press and mill and went for a dip in the cold and clean river.

A beautiful apartment with gorgeous views. Our host was very helpful and responsive and left us a lot of great food. This was very helpful as it was off season and nowhere close by to eat or get food. The bed was comfortable. Also a beautiful place to hike. So peaceful. We loved our stay there.

Cozy two bedroom apartment. The location was great for exploring the mountain areas. The unit was warm even in cold winter weather. We parked outside the restaurant. Easy check-in with lockbox, and hosts were very friendly, communitive and responsive. Lots of information available for the local area. Including good tip to buy fresh bread from the local bakers that drive through the little village. We will stay there again when in Serra da Estrella.
