Perfect location for exploring Madeira, the small town of Machico is within walking distance where you will find a selection of cafes and restaurants to enjoy. We hired a car whilst in Madeira and there is parking nearby which is free.
The owner was very welcoming and even greeted us with a bowl of fruit, some Madeira wine and jam and crackers. Lovely touch. The house has everything you could possibly need for a weeks stay. We cooked a few nights and used the washing machine.

Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
The host was very friendly and even got us a cake from his wife's bakery to welcome us. The house was very clean and had all the facilities that were described.
The privacy and the view are amazing! The house is very clean, the kitchen has more than we needed for the week. The bathroom is small but it is very practical . Everything you could need is provided, including bbq equipment, diving goggles and even a cat!!
Guido and his wife are one of the nicest hosts we have ever met! The place is very clean and nicely decorated. Close to small grocery stores and walking distance to the beach restaurants. Good location to explore eastern Madeira and a 10 minute drive from the airport. Convenient parking, which is important in Canical. Highly recommended!

It is great value for money. The appartment is relatively large, very clean and very well equipped. Parking is a great bonus, given that it can be quite difficult to park in Madeira. Guido, the host, was waiting for us at the agreed time and his wife prepared a homemade cake to welcome us.
