Our stay was amazing. The owner is super nice and caring, he provided everything we need and even more (several bottles of wine 😄). The house is quite big for 4 people, the renovation and furniture were new, we had all the facilities we needed. The location is great for those who are with the car, we had own parking place in the yard.
Just a couple of tips for improvement: it would be great to have a shower door or curtain and a drying rack.

Great peaceful location, outside of the crowded city and yet very close to Funchal and the Airport.
The house was very beautiful - it tells a story. Plenty of space inside, well equipped kitchen, warm (very good heating system), there was a working fireplace that was well prepared for light up. The furniture and design inside the house was unique - not "Ikea" like. It was very kind of the host to put flowers from the garden into the rooms - Thank you! The garden is amazing - lots of flowers, trees and wildlife - lots of birds and small rabbits.
There was a washing machine and dry rack.
Plenty of space to park your rental car near the house.
Communication with the host was good.

Everything was very nice. The villa is in a really quiet area, the silence was amazing. The house is huge and in a very good condition, with a lot of rooms and plenty of space. Also a big garden with terrace and barbeque place. The kitchen was fully equipped, rooms were clean and big enough. There is a "levada" walk outside the house, you can take the stairs and get to the restaurants/shops by foot in less than 10 min. Overrall it was a great experience! Thanks to the hosts, who were very helpful when needed!

We stayed as a family with two children. Everything was just perfect and even more. House is freshly renovated and everything inside is new, very clean. Contact with the owner is outstanding, we did get all the answers to our questions immediately. Location of the house aslo is great, 15 min to airport and 20 min to Funchal. Nearby restaurant makes wonderful meals at a very affordable price. All around one of the best experiences we had! Definitely must book if it’s still available!

We’re glad that we picked Quinta da Moscandinha for our stay in Madeira. The location is a little green oasis!
The staff is super friendly and made sure we had a pleasant stay: everything’s very clean and prepared with so much love to detail. The breakfast was perfect and it is even possible to have it prepared as take away if you have an early hike or flight.
Also, we highly recommend the enclosed restaurant.
Fantastic accommodation in a lovely setting. Very clean, comfortable and the staff were pleasant and knowledgeable. The hot outdoor hot bath is a nice touch and a nice place to drink the complementary bottle of wine. We would come back and stay here again!
We stayed at Casas de Pedra for the 2nd time now. You can only fall in love with this place! Such a cozy cottage in an incredibly beautiful garden - so relaxing and peaceful. In addition lovely hosts, perfect service, very, very clean and well-equipped. Good location for getting around the island.
Very peaceful and quiet, lovely breakfast. Staff is really nice. Room very modern in an old Quinta. Very clean as well. Would recommend this place with no hesitation.
A very nice accomodation with a bus stop to Funchal (2.20 Euro/person) right in front of the hotel. Otherwise, it is a little bit in the middle of nowhere and you need a car to get anywhere else.
Very nice room (because we were there in December the humidity in the room was pretty high), very clean, big comfy bed.
