This is definitely an experience of a Portuguese house. For us it sufficed as we were here to ride. The kitchen was large & well equipped. But the rest is fairly basic. Not recommended for anyone who cannot climb a ladder to reach the bedroom! Not much going on in the town but there are some deluxe wineries in the region & Roman remains are worth the visit.

Casa do Arco is well located at the lower end of Beja castle. The house is big enough for a family of 4. There are two big bedrooms, a kitchen, a living room, a dining room and a small stair to the roof, where you can dry your clothes or sit and enjoy the sun.
The bathroom also is in a good size and hot water worked well. And the towels were big and fluffy, not the usual small, washed to death ones.
The kitchen is well equipped: electric cooktop, electric stove, fridge with separate freezer, toaster, microwave, kettle and a dish washer. We didn’t miss anything to prepare breakfast or dinner.
We loved our stay there and really recommend Casa do Arco.

These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different than apartments.
Very clean and well equipped, especially kitchen. Lounge became very comfortable 3rd bedroom. Nice roof terrace with great views. Otherwise great. Definitely recommend. Great Indian restaurant in town. Good location for Evora and within reach of the Algarve. River beach nearby is lovely and an inexpensive way to spend an afternoon.
We liked practilly everything, it is small appartment with all the practilities you need inclusive a kitchen. It is new and very clean and the host is a nice guy.

The apartment is in the very old city, small street, very central location. Rooms were very clean, bed was excelent (pillows as well). Host, Joana, was soo helpful! Showed us a shop and accompanied us. Wifi was excellent. Coffee machine and other amenities in the kitchen was great! Shampoo and conditioner was available - that's very comfortable!
