We loved everything about our experience and stay with Isabella and Edward. They are wonderful hosts and their property is clean and in a fabulous location. You will need a car to travel to them. You should hire a car anyway to see the entire island, its gorgeous. We enjoyed conversing with the other guests during our stay and the breakfast of bread and fresh fruit was delightful. We highly recommend staying at La Maison Du Voyage and look forward to going back!

We recently had an unforgettable stay at John's bungalow in Raiatea, French Polynesia, and we cannot recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, John and his family took exceptional care of us, making our honeymoon truly special.
The bungalow itself is a charming, traditional structure with a fantastic terrace that offers stunning views of the ocean. Every morning, we woke up to breathtaking vistas and the soothing sounds of the sea, which made our stay incredibly relaxing.
John's hospitality was outstanding. He ensured we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. His mother was especially sweet, going above and beyond by giving us thoughtful gifts to celebrate our honeymoon.
Overall, our experience at this bungalow was perfect. The combination of warm hospitality, beautiful accommodation, and the serene location made it a memorable trip. We are already looking forward to our next visit and hope to meet John and his family again in the future!

We booked this property in hope to have very chilled relaxing few days but.... this property left very dirty feeling...
To start - the instructions received from the Host were wrong and contained wrong code for key collection. We've spent over half an hour trying to unlock key deposit box only to discover that we were provided the wrong code!!! What if we'd arrived late at night??? The contact number provided to us was not working either!
Secondly, the place is dirty - the dirt that has been there for ages, after not being properly cleaned between the tenants!
And to finish it all off - the host provided invoice for one amount in XPF but decided to charge us in US Dollars (because they are based in the US), choosing the preferred rate for them and then, without our permission, just charged our card with an amount they wanted! Which means we were charged almost £100 extra! That is why you are unable to pay at the time of the booking - because the host overcharges you at the check-out!!!! Would anyone be happy to be treated this way on your super-expensive-as-it-is trip to French Polynesia??? And the tone the host is using in their correspondence.... well, book & see!
Otherwise, the location was good if you have a car, beautiful flower-tree sets nice backdrop to the ocean but you can't swim as the water is all muddy, only around the bungalow. Bed was large and comfortable but after seeing how dirty the whole place is - you need to bring your own bedsheets to feel clean in this bed. Place looked very nice on the photos which were probably taken 100 years ago because the reality is very different! The whole place had to be de-greased before you could unpack and touch the surfaces, every handle in the property, surfaces in the bedroom, kitchen fridge, hob, sink etc.... and after seeing that - we would not trust the visual cleanliness of the bathroom - so we had to clean the whole property!

It was very clean, well equipped and had a really good air conditioner which is very much appreciated in Tahiti all year round. They also had two bikes for us to use which we really enjoyed.
An absolutely lovely place - peaceful and tranquil that’s for sure! Beautifully appointed bungalows - beds were super comfortable and everything was well appointed and very clean. The pool area was a welcome bonus.
The Bungalow itself looked just average from the front, but when you opened the door it was Wow what a stunning room. The décor was excellent and showed great taste in design. Very clean and tidy. Then you walk out on to the balcony and what a truly amazing view. The best vista I have seen from any accommodation. What a fantastic place to sit on the balcony and what the sun sink below the horizon.
Very cosy new bungalow,very good equipped, very clean,spacious,comfortable bed,spacious room and bathroom in a quiet area. Emanuele,our host was very friendly,give us help to book a boat trip and other tips to visit the island. Breakfast was very good.I highly recommend.
