Great place in the mountains. Large, clean villa with beautiful mountain views from every side. The biggest advantage is the host, who will make sure that your stay is unforgettable. He will prepare delicious traditional Omani food for you, organize trips to the canyons and Jebel Shams. The house is rustic and pretty-especially at night. The outdoor space with a fire pit is great. Also very close driving distance to the viewpoints and balcony walk. Just disappointed that most weekends it’s booked out as we’d be back again very soon if we could.

Great Value and Wonderful Stay at Sunset House!
My family and I had a fantastic stay at Sunset House. The property offered a lot of space and privacy, which was perfect for our family, and it felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. The house was clean and ready when we arrived, and the host was incredibly gracious, even offering us a dinner choice of homemade traditional Omani food, which was absolutely delicious. He also offered to arrange a guide, provided breakfast, and was always available for any assistance we needed.
The stay was excellent value for money, considering the space, privacy, and personalized attention we received. Despite the heavy rain, we enjoyed every moment of our time here.
