Beautiful little hide-away in a newly renovated house (has a bit of an Tuscan look and feel). A bit of a mix up with the booking (we did it last minute), but the owners were quick to resolve it and were still very welcoming. Heaps of wild bird song at dusk and dawn. Free oranges, fresh eggs and a bottle of locally brewed cider topped it off. Easy drive to Matakana and surrounding areas; highly recommend visiting Brick Bay Wines & Sculpture Trail: https://www.brickbay.co.nz/

Nice quiet spot about 5 minutes drive from Matakana township. Lovely rural outlook, especially at this time of the year with all the autumn leaves. Beautiful and new little barn style cottage. Very clean and tidy. We had a lovely stay and would come back again.
Warkworth Country House is set in beautiful grounds, very peaceful. The room is very clean & spacious & you are given a very warm welcome plus a little tray of tasty home made goodies awaits you in your room. The choice of breakfast is excellent & everything is cooked to perfection - we could not fault anything. A fabulous BNB you will definitely not be disappointed if you stay here.
Lovely light room with comfy beds and a nice shower. Very clean.Designated parking under the room (which was up some stairs). excellent location for exploring warkworth and surrounding area. Good to be able to get a meal in the resturaunt/bar next door. Nice and quiet (weekday nights) Lovely staff.
