Amazing views, stylish and comfortable. While a small space, it had everything needed and more. I was impressed with the kitchenware which was well-supplied and thought out for use in a small space. There was an inflatable paddle board which is great to take out on a calm morning and watch the dawn from the water. Short walking distance to several restaurants. The host was responsive. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back and stay longer.

Cute well designed space private and cost effective
A lovely comfortable and spacious room, with lovely views. The room and bathroom was very clean with lovely toiletries. The kitchenette had all the facilities that we needed. Very central to Takaka, only a few minutes walk. A great base to explore the bay. Laundry facilities a bonus and there was a bbq area that looked great. Hosts were very friendly.
This is a lovely little backpackers in the hippie town of Tākaka. The staff were very friendly, everything was very clean and it had everything you needed. We stayed between doing the Heaphy and Abel Tasman tracks, a good pit stop for this kind of thing!
Spacious for the two of us. Everywhere was very clean and well cared for. Has a laundry which we made good use of! Also had our own private balcony with table and chairs.
Helpful & accommodating Manager, who rang& texted arrangements for a later check-in. Very clean, spacious and comfortable. Reasonably priced - we felt it was good value for money.
Everything is a bit older but was very clean and we had a good stay. Nice garden to sit outside when it's not to cold and guests were quite after 10pm. We would come back.
