The attention to detail throughout the lodge made it feel very warm and homely. We really liked the selection of board games available and being able to light the fireplace of an evening. The place was really well equipped, everything you would want in the kitchen and then some. The decor was really lovely and very Rotorua. They even had a Christmas tree set up for us which was a very nice touch. The views are spectacular and the hot tub was hot and great to dip in after a day full of hiking and activities.
