This was the best last minute booking I have ever made. The Farmhouse was the sanctuary my family and I needed as we made an impromptu trip to the far north. Set in an idyllic farm setting which seemed far from the stresses of city life was only 5 minutes from the main road. As someone who often stays in motels and hotels this farmhouse was a breath of fresh air and the detail and care put into ensuring the property was ready to greet guests did not go unnoticed. My family are already planning our next trip to stay.

A cute little tiny home, very private and very compact. OK for an overnight stay but would be very confining for longer as no storage room for anything.
Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
Location was excellent with a view out over the water and just a short walk to cafes, shops and restaurants.
Room was very clean.
Good base from which to walk around Mangonui, which is a very pretty town in a beautiful setting.
Welll appointed holiday home in a quiet cul de sac. Great kitchen including coffee machine,& ice making fridge. Very comfortable beds. Great shower. Nice to have a separate toilet. Good outdoor space. Liked art work
Spacious room, adequate cooking facilities, comfy bed, good shower, very clean. Great view from the veranda - so long as you as stood up - sit down and the railing block the view.
Parking right in front of the apartment, steep, short hill to access the parking lot, then a blind turn left in to the lot if you have a low car - SUV and you are fine.
Firstly, this place was newly renovated and very clean. Our unit has a jacuzzi on the balcony and was fantastic, even through the colder nights. The TV was already signed in to Netflix, Disney +, TVNZ etc., so we didn't have to worry about entering our logins. This town is also very save where everyone lookout for each other, even if your a visitor.
An older hotel wiith all of the obvious age related quirks but very clean, beds comfortable, mini kitchen and a balcony with views to die for. No it isn’t 4 or 5 star but i would recommend it
