The location was excellent, quite close to the town of Twizel. The stars in the evening were unbelievable.

This was a lovely apartment, clean and comfortable but for accommodation that is pitched at the pricier end of the market I felt that a better quality of things like crockery, cutlery and toiletries could have been better than the cheap quality and supermarket toiletries that were on offer

Spacious and comfortable . Comfy beds, good sports package on TV . Nice deck which gets the evening light . Mountain view from sitting room .Main bedroom plenty of light with lots of storage room. Gas cooker👍🏼 pretty well equipped kitchen . Quiet but quite near to town . Good location for visiting the lakes .

Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
The lake view. We had the most exceptional weather. The house was very clean and tidy. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bathroom was a great size. Beds were comfortable. A really great well looked after cottage.
You will not regret staying at this fabulous location. The views are outstanding, the cottage is very comfortable and has everything you need for an extended stay (as we found out thanks to covid!). The people were absolutely lovely and couldn't have been more accommodating. The cottage was very clean and the daily visit from Harry, the local golden retriever just topped it all off. Bring your togs if you are here in summer, the lakeshore is just a short walk away.
