The cottage was a separate house from the owner's, offering great privacy. The lady host was incredibly hospitable, giving us a warm tour of the facilities and introducing us to her charming array of pets - a friendly dog, two majestic horses, and some delightful hens. The room had such a warm, homey atmosphere that made our stay special. We particularly enjoyed the thoughtful touch of being able to feed the hens with food provided by the owner before our departure.

The size of this cottage are big enough for 4 people and the garden are nice. We love the balcony with lake view but there are so many spider webs around. The water pressure was so good!

The house was beautiful - lovely location with wonderful lake views. Facilities were great too with a large kitchen and lots of comfortable living space. It was also just a short drive into the centre of town / local shops and attractions so very convenient. Owners made sure to check in when were arrived / could access the property and were very attentive to our needs. Would highly recommend.

The place was really well equipped, everything you would want in the kitchen and then some. The decor was really lovely and very Rotorua. They even had a Christmas tree set up for us which was a very nice touch. The views are spectacular and the hot tub was hot and great to dip in after a day full of hiking and activities.

These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
beautiful place - really comfortable and clean. Lovely view. Would highly recommend staying at this comfortable and clean holiday home. We didn't use the spa but a family next door and the kids loved it with no interruption to us at all. There were some extras in the kitchen that also added to the stay - well worth staying here and travelling into town about 10 minutes - but worth the confort and serenity
Beautiful location. Very clean. Comfortable beds with very nice sheets and bedding. Shamppo/conditioner and body wash provided (although we had our own). Well equipped kitchen and laundry. Nice shower. Firewood and outdoor furniture provided, loved sitting outside under the stars enjoying the fire. QGood information provided in folder. The wine and honey was a lovely touch and much appreciated. Was good to know we could contact the hosts for help although there was good information provided so we didn't need to contact them.
Wonderful location, picture perfect view. Teenagers loved the kayaks and we didn't mind the rain. Very well-equipped holiday home which had everything we needed; so well thought out with many extras. The honey and wine were a lovely welcoming touch. We had a fantastic time!
