The house has all you need for a short stay or a long stay. The owners are clearly lovely people which NZ has plenty but they seem more friendly the further south you go. Wifi instructions were clear. We only stayed overnight but I would to go back next time I'm in the area. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need. Lovely outside deck with water views.

We were travelling through Moeraki as part of a long road trip of the South Island, and this cute tiny stay appeared in the search. It's in a great location, has everything one would need, and best of all - there are two highland cows in a paddock right behind it. For some reason these became my favourite things on the NZ trip.

The location and the views are unbeatable. The communication with the host was very good, we had enough space and we really appreciated the washing machine (even without dryer).
Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
Great kind people, enjoy our lovely chat and very accommodating! Our room is very pleasant, old facilities but very spotless and very clean. Location is quiet and convenient. Very close to the Moraeki boulders. Would definitely stay here again if we go back.
Very clean little motel with an extremely helpful owner . Well situated in a quiet position off the main highway for visiting Moeraki boulders and Shag point seal colony. Parking outside each unit. Good local supermarket next door, pub across one road and good fish and chip shop and cafe across the other one all easy walking.
Our room was almost an apartment so plenty of room. The rooms were very clean and could not be faulted. Location was just off the main highway, easy to find, quiet and in a central location.
