We had an amazing time here! The view is beautiful, and when you first walk in to the retreat you get the "wow" factor right away. Being able to cook our own dinner and sit and eat on the deck enjoying the sunset and later the starry skies was amazing. This retreat has a very relaxed feel. It helps that there is no wifi, so it allows you to disconnect and relax.
Also, the contact from the retreat was very helpful. We had some issues with the reservation, which they were paitent and communicative, so we could then sort it out. I appreciated that a lot.

The Barn location was great out in the country 12 minutes drive from Grey town and not far from other nearing towns.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff were very helpful and responsive. The rooms comfortable and very clean .We would definitely stay at the Greytown Hotel again.
Great location, perfect for us exploring the area, Greytown, Martinborough and Palliser Bay. The place was very very clean and spacious. Everything was provided, the heat pump worked a treat for cold wintery evenings.
This is an old hotel which has very historic nostalgic vibes. I didn't expect much as it has shared bathrooms so I assumed it wasn't a renovated property. I was pleasantly surprised to find the beds to be very comfortable, the room warm, clean & all we needed. The shared bathroom was very clean & modern enough. There are 2 bathrooms to service 4 rooms so it was not a problem. I would stay here again for one night travelling through as it is close to walking distance to restaurants & cafes and the price is a seller !
Fabulous Hotel, Jamie started our stay off with excellent humour and certainly made us feel welcome. The rest of the team were just as brilliant, so friendly, happy and professional. Will definitely be back here to stay, the Lighthouse room was a delight, very clean and most comfortable. Greytown excels!
