This place is amazing. You have the comfort of home but with views like you’re camping. I was lucky and I could see all the stars and the moon it was beautiful. There is wifi and warm water which is a plus. The cabin is super cute with big windows which allow you to see the night sky even from bed. They have nice lawn chairs outside as well. They have activities you can book but I was only there for a night so I didn’t get to try them. The host was easily accessible with any needs.

While searching for comfortable place to stay with 6-year old child near Lake Tekapo area in New Zealand - we came across this gem and booked it.
We stayed in “Sherwood” cottage on the facility and had one of the most memorable experience. It had all required amenities including air conditioning in the family room and was within 1 hour distance from Lake Tekapo. It also has a nice patio where we enjoyed morning breakfast while listening to beautiful bird chirping.
Murray and Jackie were super friendly and accommodative of our asks. They seem to be taking great care of the facility.
Our 6 year old had a great time spinning on the private flying fox (zipline) and feeding pellets to alpacas that Jackie gave earlier in the day.

The accommodation was perfect. The kitchenette had everything in it, what we need. The bed was comfy and the owners were very friendly and helpful. The unit was very clean. The location was only a short drive from Lake Tekapo and the nearest restaurant was only a short drive. The Burkes Pass was interesting with the historical artifacts.
This was a great holiday home. We enjoyed a lot staying. Only suggestion Would be if you can a more reliable and stable water supply with consistent hot water across ALL water taps/sources, this would really make it a perfect holiday home. All in all, it was a pleasant experience to have a secluded night.

Has so much to offer beyond a regular motel. Beds were so comfy with the electric blankets and kitchen was well equipped too. Overall space was very clean. Love that it’s a family-run business as well.
100% recommended. Comfortable and warm beds, fireplace and heat pump. The houses are very clean, modern and the attention to detail is amazing. Location was perfect. We had snow during the night and woke up to a winter wonderland. We will definitely be back!! Thank you!!!!
