Our stay was nothing short of perfect.
The view from the cabin was absolutely breathtaking, offering a stunning panorama of Lyngenfjord. It was a daily joy to wake up and take in such majestic scenery. The seating area was excellent, with large windows that allowed us to watch the Northern Lights right from the comfort of the couch. We were also lucky to spot a group of reindeer early one morning, adding a touch of magic to our stay.
The cabin itself was spacious and exuded a clean and fresh atmosphere, with well maintained rooms and the bathroom. The beds were extraordinarily comfortable, making each night’s sleep truly restful. The kitchen, dining area, and living areas were well-designed, cozy, and spotless. One of the highlights was the spacious deck. Equipped with shovels, we were able to clear the snow easily, giving us an ideal spot to enjoy the lights under the open sky.
Tommy, our host, was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. He went out of his way to make us feel at home, even sharing cod and halibut, which we cooked and found to be absolutely delicious. This personal touch made the experience all the more memorable.

Sauna was great, it takes 2-3 hours to get hot, but then it is fantastic. The house is very well equipped, you can even ccok you own cakes. The view is great and very well located for a short ski tour directly from home. The owner was very kind.

This is a small, old cottage beautifully renovated to a very high standard. It's quite modern inside but at the same time very cosy and comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped including a bean-to-cup coffee machine. The house is spotless. The separate building, Aurora View, is a great space to chill with the big windows overlooking the fjord and the hills on the other side. The location is great: very quiet and peaceful but only a few minutes drive to a big supermarket Rama in Lyngseidet and 15 minutes drive to a fantastic dog sledding place Team Lyngen Tours run by Tommy.

The house is great, well equipped and very cozy. Beautiful view, especially from the kitchen, with reindeers coming around for breakfast, lots of games for kids to occupy time indoor and great hikes around. Wish we could have stayed longer, we will definitely be back!

Great views, spacious house, comfortable bed, parking at the door, well-equipped kitchen and everything very clean…. The house was very warm when we arrived. The owners were very friendly, they recommended some hiking routes and helped us with a problem we had with renting equipment. We would repeat without hesitation. We saw the northern lights from the door of the house!

We were on a biking holiday and stayed one night in Gjestegård, Lyngseidet. We had a very good night after different hotels and campings: very clean room and bathroom, curtains that kept the sun out, and the best bed since we left home!
I forgot my glasses and the owner arranged that his brother took it to Tromsø, our next step. That was so very kind!!!
