Great for families or large parties, vacation homes are privately owned accommodations, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities, though breakfast might be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different than apartments.
Great place, the little appartment offered privacy and was very clean, with nice beds. The front desk staff at the main hotel was very friendly and offered us advice and let us stash our bags the last day after check-out so we could explore the city some more. Also the breakfast provided there was very nice.
Fantastic location right next to a castle, and great views all around the grounds. Cafe conveniently located close-by on the grounds as well. We got a complimentary welcome drink of choice when we arrived. We stayed in one of the holiday homes, which has a good size for 4 persons. Great views from the windows. Do take note that the 2 bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs, and the stairs are relatively steep. Manager called ahead to make sure key collection was organised.
The holiday houses are great,clean when we arrived. Check in was simple and fast, staff friendly and polite. Support people were excellent, had a problem while there and handled it immediately and efficiently. Even took off their shoes to come in!!!
Was there in the winter and can not say what it would be like in the summer with families and children. Would definitely go again. Did not use the restaurant but I am sure it would of been fine. Shopping is near by but you do need an car to reach the stores.
