It is a lovely big, clean house, furnished with good taste. Katy, the host, was more than helpful and gave us lots of local tips and was timely in all communications. The location is perfect and less than five minutes on foot to the entrance of Rotterdam Central Station. The area has a nice tranquility about it, even though it is central, and amenities close by are fantastic with a supermarket, a nice restaurant and a beautiful small pub, all within a 60 second walk from the front door. This said, it was very quiet in the house and people in Rotterdam, in general, are very laid back so there is no danger of not getting a good night's sleep no matter what time you go to bed or wake up.
Like many traditional Dutch houses, the stairs are steep. Absolutely not an issue if you are able for stairs, but one to note if you have mobility restrictions.

Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
Easy Check-In, need phone to enter room which could be a hassle for others, but we really liked it. Spacious, pretty apartment and very clean. Fridge in the room was a little lifesaver. Lake right in front of the hotel is big and nice, dogs are welcome. Close to the beach (5 min car ride), where dogs were allowed as well. I liked that the toilet and shower were in separate rooms. Cutest picture of cow above the bed :-)
It was very clean and tidy. It was well located in a high-class neighborhood. 2 different supermarkets were very close, great to do daily trips to the beach, do kitedurfing or to a cute old town nearby. Great stay!
The location was perfect because I have family living in Oostvoorne.
The bedroom was spacious and very clean, particularly the bathroom. Staff came to my room and gave fresh towels and emptied the garbage while I was away. The breakfast food was delicious and all the food was fresh. The coffee was delicious and the dining room was spacious and clean. 10/10
The pool and sauna facilities are wonderful. Very clean and the sauna can be reserved to use privately. The massage by Karin was fabulous. For wellness the services are great and very relaxing
The hotel exceeded our expectations. It is modern, has different facilities, very clean, allows pets, enough parking, good location. In the room they pay attention to details, provided complimentary things for us and our pet. The breakfast was also worth it, diverse choice and delicious. Would come again for a short out-of-city getaway.
Staying in the blue house was a great pleasure for us ☺️ The equipment in the house was very good. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom and toilet was very close to the house (10m) and it was very clean there. Terrace with a hammock was perfect for relaxing. In addition, there was a grill on the terrace where we had a delicious dinner. The restaurant next to reception served delicious food. The service was very nice and helpful. On site you could rent bikes and explore the beautiful surroundings.
