We had an excellent stay! The house is recently renovated and has luxurious appliances and furniture. There was enough, delicious breakfast for all 5 days of our stay and even a bottle of wine with chocolates. The owner came over when we arrived and when we left. She is super nice and quick to respond to any questions. Highly recommend!

Everything was perfect. It may seem too vague, but it is true indeed. Very clean, cozy and well equipped. The bed was really comfortable. Bathroom and great shower. Nice view of gardens, and very good localization between Hengelo and Enschede (15 min from U. Twente). The host was great as well.

This place is stunning and far better than the pictures of the outside of the building. The staff were very helpful, rooms are large & very clean with several complimentry snacks. On the day it rained they even lent us a couple of golf umbrellas.
But what blew me away on arrival was the plush toy they gave my daughter. The staff member went out the back and brought out a basket of teddies for her to choose from, it made her day!
The City Hotel is in a very convenient location within the town centre. The room was well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. They have a pillow menu and supply complimentary water. There was also the added surprise of a gift which was crisps and sweets, this was a great touch! The staff were very friendly and helpful, I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel and I will definitely stay again in the future! It is good value for money and very clean and quiet.
