Besides that everything was clean the people working there were insanely welcoming and literally made our stay. Never met someone so friendly and happy. Honestly that’d be already a reason to come back. They even saw us walking in the morning and drove us to the bus stop. Also u have everything u need as like kitchen facilities

Amazing stay from beginning to end. Clean and spacious villas with all that you need. 3 rooms, 3 bathrooms. AC working well in rooms and downstairs. Superb and safe spot if you want space and to be quiet. The view was our biggest surprise on the San Juan beach and the Christo statue. Surronded by nature, birds and butterflies. Easy to access, but you do need a car to get around from there. With a car, you are 5 minutes from the city, groceries, beaches, etc. Staff always there to help and very cordial and available. Our stay was beyond our expectations and we could not be more happy with our choice. Thank you for everything Bahia Del Sol.

The eco-friendly Surf Cabañas are just so beautifully designed with only local materials. It’s was so laid back, relaxed and very close to the surf spot at Playa Maderas just down the hill. There have been three Cabañas when I was there. Every one has its own special touch and they differ in size. All well thought, fully equipped and a great way of to enjoy Playa Maderas, San Juan del Sur and the whole costal area from a peaceful retreat.
Communication with Victoria and people in charge was easy and very welcoming. Would definitely recommend for solo, couple and friends travellers.

Ended up coming back here 3 times, located in a really nice quiet part of Rivas. Great value for money, comfy double bed, very clean, well built rooms with a lot of airflow!. The owners are what made this place! Extremely kind and were able to help with any Nicaragua / Rivas related questions. Also fluent in English and Dutch if that helps.
Definately recommend staying here if your passing through Rivas, definitely a underrated little town.
It’s basic but very clean, the beds are comfy and the owner is very friendly and helpful. A great place to stay between transit! Can’t beat $15 for your own room.
The property was basic but very clean. The beds were super comfortable and we each got our own fan so the temperature was also very good for sleeping. The best thing about this property were the owners. I have never met nicer people in my life! They were so kind and polite and also very helpful with dinner recommendations and tips for our travels. Max even drove us to the ferry the next morning which was so very nice of him. I would definitely stay here again if I ever come back to Rivas just because of Max and Martha!
The room was very good with a nice kitchen and a lot of space. Everything was very clean and the bed was comfortable. There is even a cute little chicken that sometimes pays a visit. Max and his wife Martha were so kind and friendly, we loved staying with them. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are in Rivas. Perfect resting place while on your way to other places.
Right on the central square, this is an ideal location if you're staying in Rivas. The staff were incredibly helpful, spending a long time to help us when we had car issues, even after the garage was closed l. The room was very clean and comfortable and rhe building itself is lovely.
The most friendly and hospitable family, they offered to pick me up from the ferry and they drove me to the atm and bus station. They know their town well, you can ask them where to get anything. Very warm people and very clean and comfortable room.
- The staff was extremely friendly, welcoming and helpfull. They even drove us to the bus stop the next morning.
- The apartment was comfortable and was really well equiped (stove, cooking gear, coffee machine, etc)
- We had a nice terrace with hammocks, chairs and a table.

- The location is walking distance from Rivas bus terminal and Tica bus.
The host, Julieta, was lovely and gave us lots of information for our forward travel. The room was very clean and very good value for money. And Nico the dog becomes everyone’s best friend!
