Really cute, near to many lovely bars restaurants,.bakeries market and street food. But in the residential area not the tourist strip, so felt authentic and also cheaper. Very international community here, and everyone was friendly and chilled. Great provincial feel while still lively enough. We went to the Malecon too and enjoyed what that had to offer.
The house was perfect, simple but lovely. We all enjoyed the freedom of having bikes on hand as soon as we got there. My 13 year old son felt at home in the neighborhood to go and join in with football training going on each evening. It was all so easy and welcoming.
Roberto was on hand to fix a broken flush and help us light the oven, give recommendations for local eating and reputable dive companies.

The location, very close by to the main center of mahahual. Absolutely breath taking view from the third floor. Also have to mention the room was very clean, spacious with new amenities like the fresh towels and the concierge Rene was very much helpful.
Right on the beach with nice lounge chairs. I loved that it was a few minutes outside the main strip of beach clubs with all you can drink for the tourists pouring off the cruise ships at the other end. Rooms very clean and nice. I also love that breakfast is included... Talk to the people next door about renting bikes! They are very nice and willing to negotiate.
Perfect stay for two next to the beautiful beach in Mahahual. We really enjoyed the small Cabanas and the terrace in front of each. Bathrooms are very clean and the restaurant has good food for good price. Also enjoyed the gym very much :)
The place has a magical feel about it. very clean, staff went out of her way to try and make our stay wonderful. On our first night the cook treated us to fresh catch fish. We used their canoe, standup board, and went snookling. The "Roof Top" was a great place to watch the sunrise and sunset. The name means opposite of paronia and that it was calm, free of rules and restrictions. A bonus is this way out of the way place has small convenience story and there is a great little restaurant "The Mayan Garden just two doors down.
