So 'Luxury Resort Villa' is a bit misleading as the villa itself is not really 'luxury' but Anahita resort itself is (along with a luxury price tag).
The villa is comfortable enough and quiet but the decor is very dated/dark and had several issues detailed below and in photos.
We felt the description of it having 'a pool with a view' misleading. It has what amounts to a small plunge pool that you can cool off in full view of the restaurant across the water.
Anahita is aimed squarely at golfers with deep pockets, most of whom are on inclusive packages. If you stay at the villa you will be billed for everything, down to bottled water, so the 25% 'resident' discount doesn't go very far.
We also felt we were treated as second-class guests as we weren't on a package at the main resort. On arrival, the reception staff didn't greet us or introduce the resort. Just checked us in and gave us a key card.
Some of the individual staff were very friendly and made a fuss of our kids. It was the overall level of service we got for a premium resort that just felt off. For example. being given tables away from other guests and with no wifi with which to entertain the kids. You also have to book for dinner to ensure you get fed, and cannot eat before 7pm even with young children. This is all a bit weird in a place that has a kids club ($60 per kid per day if under 4).
That aside, the resort is beautiful, the pool and private beach amazing and the food is great. We also did a golf taster class so maybe we'll come back for an all-inclusive treat one day!

Its a scam...booking is stealing money on properties that is not available...ive book the place already make payment...and next day when arriving at the properties owner told us the place is unavailable due to water leakage and he already informed booking.com about this problem...ive emailed booking.com so many times for a refund or if i could book another property but no answer till now....GOOD JOB BOOKING.COM....please be careful people about booking...

Breakfast was great. The villa is well located and close to a mini supermarket and good restaurants. The infinity pool is clean with a beautiful view of the lagoon. The beach house itself is very spacious and comfortable. You can relax on the veranda and enjoy some refreshing afternoon breeze. There is a BBQ facility and the kitchen is well equipped so preparing meals is a breeze. All the rooms are air conditioned. The host always responded to my queries.

The hosts were wonderful, they waited for us. He explained everything. All the time, when needed, provided the necessary information. The villa was in a beautiful location, close to the beach. The villa had everything we needed.

Villa Bella is located in a very calm neigbourhood, and has all the accomodations one needs. Every amenity in the kitchen, fruit as a welcome gift, a washing machine with powder ready, a TV, etc.. The house is extremely clean, and all the rooms very spacious. The beds were made with clean sheets, no bugs anywhere, everything was perfect. We were very lucky to be the only hosts there, and had the entire property and swimming pool to ourselves. The people (Marco, Angelique the owner, even the neighbours) were all extraodinary in helping us adjust to Mauritius and the life there. We could always count on somebody to help us out, whether it was Angelique via the chat on booking, or Marco who lives not far at all from the property. The beach is only 5min away by car, and is gorgeous. It's the perfect place for people who like a calm environment but not far from shops, beaches etc. You need a car but that is to be expected in Mauritius.
PS: the wifi is extremely good at the Villa, better than in a lot of hotels where I stayed.

We had a wonderful stay in Villa Fitz. Villa is spacious and fully equipped. We stayed for two weeks and we felt as being home. We would like to thank Annie as she was very kind and helpful. Villa was regularly cleaned which we appreciated very much. The beach is truly close and we enjoyed it so much as it was almost deserted. We highly recommend the villa for families and thank for lovely holiday.
