Great for families or large parties, holiday homes are privately owned accommodation, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering, although breakfast may be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different to apartments.
By coincidence I landed in Arabesque - it was my lucky day. Comfortable and very clean hotel with spacious rooms and a nice pool. Breakfast included. But above all it was the wonderful and friendly service that will make me go back when I am in Nouakchott. Mohammed and Hamdi were always available and were happy to make any arrangement.
Nice place to meet other travelers. Very clean bathrooms and quite stable internet connection. Delicious (but expensive) food, nice outdoor seating areas, safe parking for smaller vehicles. Hot water. All in all (despite some negative remarks) good if you compare it to the rest of the country.
