Fabulous two story flat built up from a cleverly converted old cellar room. The location is as good as it gets. Right in the heart of old town Ohrid, a few minutes walk from the lakeshore. The bedroom is in the coverted cellar and is really comfy with original stone walls, twin beds and plenty of storage. Nice period furniture pieces as well. Upstairs the kitchen/lounge area is well equipped and furnished with modern comfortable sofas to provide the perfect area for chilling out before hitting the town. Bathroom was fine with the added bonus of a washing machine and detergent. I would happily stay here again. The veranda outside was a bonus, offering outdoor entertainment space with a decent amount of privacy.

First thing I noticed was that the rooms were very clean and even had access to a private bathroom during my stay. There is a big yard full of fitness equipment, which was fantastic if you want to workout during your stay. The hosts were very welcoming, they make tasty traditional Macedonian pastries and espresso; which they offered free of charge. Real southern hospitality right here in southern Europe.

The house is so pretty and clean. The bed is very comfortable. You have everything you need. The house has its own beach and gradual entrance into the lake (which is otherwise very hard to find.) The privacy is also something that we appreciated as we were looking for a quiet place without any crowds.
The location is great. It's 7 to 8 min. ride to the city center and 3 to 4 min. ride to the nearest shop.
A huge thank you to the host, Nataša is amazing. Very welcoming and gave us great tips. We also had some car trouble and she helped us find a mechanic whom we could trust and checked in on us afterwards.
If you ever wish to visit Ohrid, at a peaceful, quiet and maybe even the best apartment there is available there you should visit Lake House Sand.
Great for families or large parties, vacation homes are privately owned accommodations, available for long or short-term rental. These homes are furnished and equipped with kitchen facilities, though breakfast might be offered as an add-on. These properties have their own independent front door, which makes them different than apartments.

I stayed one night in this room and it was great! Everything was very clean and the room is modern. Additionally, there's a restaurant below that belongs to the establishment, which is very convenient and delicious (they elevate their own trout). The owners are very welcoming and always available. There's also a shop right below, next to the restaurant. Highly recommended!
I was there with my family and the apartment, the hostess and the location were more than perfect for us! We received a lovely welcome, the food was delicious and the apartment was very clean.

Very clean and with a stunning view to the lake. The was very nice and helpful.
We enjoyed swimming in the lake in near by swimming spots, on the walk met a turtle which gave us a great feeling of the beautiful nature - how great it is to meet wild animals just on the go.
And the balcony was great for a lovely night relax with glass of wine.
