We enjoyed the location close to Mojkovac and the quiet atmosphere around.
We travelled in winter, so weather was changing a lot - from rain to snow and back. We had some concerns if we would be able to get to the hotel as we were travelling by car and the road is unpaved, but generally it was manageable.
The room is just as it looks in the photo. I have misjudged the size. If you have a couple of suitcases and have to run the furnace, there's barely room to get around.
I believe this place is much more suitable for summer vacations.

Extremely warm welcome! Hosting family was very friendly and prepared us a warm welcome, with some local food and message to feel like we are home- and we really did. :)
Location is more than perfect- in the city center but in the quiet neighborhood near the river which gave us cozy ambiance.

I decided to accompany my husband on his fishing trip that Boris organized. While the boys were busy fishing, I had a great time myself just relaxing in the cottage, reading books, taking short walks, and soaking in the beauty of the landscape and breathing fresh mountain air. The accommodation is new, clean, quiet, and authetic. Breakfast was freshly made by Boris’ wife, Nevena. Yummy. Others mentioned a small kitchen, but no need for the bigger one since Nevena can prepare a breakfast on demand, plus Boris is building a big outside kitchen. Overall, we loved it so much that we decided to stay one more day. Thank you, Boris and Nevena, for your warm welcome and hospitality. We are looking forward to visiting you next summer, but for longer. Forgot to mention, this place is heaven for all members of the family, and in the vineyard there are so many things to do: from fly fishing to hiking in national parks and swimming in lakes, from day trips to Durmitor and ski resorts to day seaside visits, too.

We had some problems getting on and off the hill (in January) but we were assisted by the host and the neighbours)
It was the first year the apartment was rented out in winter, so it was pretty cold when we arrived. But the furnace made it really warm and comfortable. There were also sufficient blankets to keep us warm at night.
The kitchen was well-equipped - enough things to cook and eat.
The hosts were very helpful when we hadquestions.

So far, it’s the best service and travel experience I’ve had in Montenegro, and I’ve been living here for years. Mountain Star is the perfect place to relax and forget about the world. It’s so quiet and beautiful here, and you just immediately feel safe as soon as you enter this house designed and decorated by its owner with great love. It’s obvious that the host cherishes this place and makes sure guests feel the warmth in every piece of wood both inside and outside. The cottage is warm, indeed, so you won’t get cold in it during any season. For winter, there is a superior fireplace inside that will hug you with the atmosphere of those Xmas Hollywood movies. Mountain Star House is surrounded by the most fascinating nature landscapes for any taste—you have mountains, forests, and national parks. We were even visited by a family of squirrels and two cats. Inside the house you have everything you need for a comfortable staying, including a small kitchen, modern shower room, and cozy beds. And outdoor tables are a magnet for cool picnics and peaceful dinners. There are also a swing and a hammock you can enjoy if you don’t want to go anywhere outside the House’s territory. The host is extremely welcoming and always helpful, trying to make your stay as incredible as possible. He met us late at night because we arrived around 9 PM, provided all the necessary instructions on how to get to the location, and assisted with all required supplies for our barbeque activities. Plus, he prepped a simply superior breakfast for us all and gifted us with some cool drinks before we left. Thank you for the high-class service we’ll never forget! In the end, all four of us were so happy we chose Mountain Star that we immediately agreed to visit this place once again during the winter season. If you’re looking for a way to get out of this chaotic world and just rest, go to the Mountain Star House.

If your looking for the real Montenegro this is the place to be. The most loving family you can wish for who will go all the way to make you feel welcome. From arrival untill we left they provided us with delicious home-made drinks and food.
The house is as you see on the pictures: cozy, comfortable and everything was very clean.
We had a great time with nice conversations and Mijat & Jovana, who speak english, translated for Mijats family. They're the bests hosts you can wish for!
I really enjoyed my stay at this guest house. The house is over 100 years old but has a good renovation and everything you need. It's very clean and the interior shows the local traditions. The hosts were very kind and made us tasty homemade farm food. They also helped us arrange a horse riding trip. The nature around is beautiful with a clean river and a lovely beach. I highly recommend it for a peaceful and real experience.
As soon as we came, the hosts were waiting for us, including their three month old puppy Bobi :). The Bungalow was very clean and tidy, as well as filled with all amenities we could ever need. The atmosphere was fairytale-like and it was very peacefull despite being next to a road. Despite being a bit further from Mojkovac, it was easy to find and get to everywhere we wanted.

Excellent room in beautiful location. Very clean and high standard. Good hospitality from the host. About 30 minutes walk from train station and 15 minutes up from town. Rooms have excellent kitchen facilities and good WiFi. Would definitely stay again.
The host isvery hospitable, ingluding the neighbors. They was always happy to help us. The host welcomed us warmly with traditional food (we apreciated the homemade bread the most).
