Sigmund and his daughter are wonderful hosts! The property is even nicer than it looks in the photos. Sigmund even took us to play tennis. Fantastic host with a beautiful cottage and gardens. Highly recommended.

The property is walking distance from the town of Cesis (about 20 min) or easy driving distance. Though small, the facilities were adequate and had everything we needed, including a wonderful outdoor space for sitting/relaxing and a trampoline for the kids. Local treats left by the host were delicious. Parking on site at property. Friendly host and communicative. Excellent stay!

As guests who usually prefer firmer beds, we found the bed in the cabin a bit soft for our taste. However, we still slept very well and woke up feeling truly rested and refreshed in the morning.
The host is warm and genuinely welcoming. He shared a bit about the property’s history, which added even more value to our experience here. It’s clear that there is genuine care and dedication invested in this place, making it feel truly special.
